The Park Avenue name originated as a 1975 Buick Eelctra 225 Limited appearance package. By 1991, the name had earned the right to become a model in its own right. Available through 2005, the luxury sedan featured front-wheel drive and a V6 engine that mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

Across two generations, the Buick Park Avenue came with such standard features as keyless entry, 16-inch wheels, leather seating, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and automatic climate control. Optional add-ons ranged from a supercharged V6 engine to 17-inch wheels and rear park assist.
