Buick Electra Model Years
Select The Year Of Your Vehicle Below
While the Buick Electra full-size car first came out in 1959, it's likely that you're driving one from the 1984 through 1990 model years if you take yours out on the road regularly. Across its full six generations of production, the luxury car was available in body styles that ranged from coupes and convertibles to sedans and station wagons. Owners could choose from V6 or V8 engines, while gear changes were managed through three- or four-speed automatic transmissions. Rear-wheel drive was offered in 1984, with front-wheel drive the standard set-up from the 1985 model year on.
Trim levels offered included Base, Limited, T-Type, Park Avenue, and Park Avenue Ultra, with the latter offering such features as leather interior, power front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, anti-lock brakes, and aluminum wheels.
