The Chevrolet Captiva Sport was a compact SUV that debuted in 2012 and was sold at dealerships through the 2015 model year. That first year, the SUV could be equipped with either of two engines: an inline-four that teamed to front-wheel drive, or a V6 that mated to all-wheel drive. Starting with the 2013 model year, however, the Captiva Sport only featured inline-four engine and front-wheel drive. Throughout the model's entire run, the engines teamed to a six-speed automatic. Upon its retirement, the Captiva Sport was replaced on the roster by the Chevrolet Trax.
The SUV was equipped with amenities like halogen headlights, rain-sensing wipers, roof rack, aluminum wheels, anti-lock brakes, keyless entry, power steering, satellite radio, and six-speaker AM/FM/CD sound system.
