The Cadillac Allante was a luxury roadster offered from 1987 through 1993. The two-door two-seater was a collaboration of sorts, with Cadillac responsible for the chassis and running gear and a body produced by Italian outfit Pininfarina. While only 21,000 or so models were built, the car earned the distinction of being named the pace car for the 1993 Indianapolis 500.

In its last year of production, the Cadillac Allante was powered by a V8 engine that pared with a four-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Standard features included updated disc brakes, a front spoiler, Road Sensing suspension system, and eight-way power seats. Available options included chrome aluminum wheels, a removable aluminum hardtop, and an LCD digital instrument cluster.
